Static Scan

Matrix 450™ is a valid solution for scanning stationary objects, from large pallets to stacked trays.

Static scanning applications are often solved with laser readers combined with oscillating mirrors in order to project the linear reading capability over the full area.

There are multiple advantages in using Matrix 450™. First of all, no part in movement – scan rotor and no oscillating mirror – has a crucial value since maximum tolerance to vibration and shock, as for example a forklift may cause.
Then, a comfortable no-flashing white illumination replaces the laser beam. And also the green spot and the beeper are an easy feedback for the operator, as guaranty of a successful reading. In order to extend the illuminator life-cycle and also to save energy, the continuous illumination can be optionally activated on a trigger basis, so simply switched off during inactivity periods.
