UHMWPE – hard to mark material for human readable applications

UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) is very important to medical applications, like joint replacement. Serial and lot numbers are required in production, IR lasers are not effective because the material reacts irregularly.
A laser marker can mark UHMWPE clearly in human readable applications. Small bursts are produced along the marking line, generating a pleasant effect.
