Its nearly impossible to find a specific pallet in a 40.000mq warehouse with more than 30.000 pallets. Each pallet features six bar codes that must be read in the right order. A fixed position industrial bar code reader with oscillating mirror able to guarantee a large reading area, reads a 14x7m area. The reader is positioned on the double forklift between the two forks where it is protected from the bumps and bruises. The oscillating mirror casts the laser up and down over the pallets allowing the labels to be read while the forklift approaches.
